Clearance Data Disclaimer

Data is not guaranteed accurate

WillIFit aggregates clearance data from a mix of sources: operator websites, community reports, OpenStreetMap, first-hand measurements, and published specifications. We do our best to keep it current and accurate, but:

• Clearances change when buildings are renovated, re-signed, or resurfaced
• Posted signs sometimes differ from actual clearance
• Clearance may vary between levels, entrances, or lanes of the same structure
• Temporary obstructions (construction, decorations, snow buildup) can reduce usable clearance
• Some entries are marked "Unverified" or "Needs verification" — these are our best guesses, not confirmed measurements

You are solely responsible for your vehicle

By using WillIFit you acknowledge and agree that:

• You will not rely on WillIFit data as the sole basis for entering any parking structure, tunnel, or passing under any bridge
• You will check the posted clearance sign at every entrance before committing
• You are responsible for knowing your own vehicle's total height, including roof racks, antennas, and cargo
• WillIFit, its operators, and contributors are not liable for any damage to your vehicle, cargo, property, or persons arising from use or misuse of this data

Recommended safety margin

Industry convention for commercial drivers is at least 6 inches between your vehicle height and the posted clearance. We use that same threshold when showing "Tight" warnings in the app. Smaller margins are risky — sign sag, pavement variation, and load shifts can consume the buffer.

Report errors

If you find incorrect data, please use the "Report clearance" button on any garage detail page. Confirmed reports improve the dataset for everyone. Thank you.

WillIFit is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We make no guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall WillIFit, its operators, contributors, or sponsors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to damage to vehicles, property, or persons, lost profits, or data loss.
